My friend has given up the rights to his daughter a few years ago – always has kept in touch and visiting rights – the daughter is now 16 years old and wants to live with the mother (the mother relinquished her rights), – in the State of New York is that possible? If so what age a child can choose to be with the father and his rights restored if both parents and children agree?
